JAKARTA – In order to strengthen business competence in the field of courier, logistics, retail, and financial services, PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) recruited new employees. President Director of PT Pos Indonesia, Gilarsi Wahju Setijono, said that the recruitment is done to strengthen the Human Resources (HR) in accordance to the business plan that will be run by the Company.
"The reason behind this recruitment is based on the Company's future business needs which requires additional human resources, particularly in the executive level," he said in Jakarta, Sunday (05/01/2016).
The Director of Human Resources of PT Pos Indonesia, Febriyanto, states that the targeted number of employees that are going to be recruited is more than 5,000 people and it is depending on the results of the final test. This is the largest recruitment ever conducted by PT Pos Indonesia to date. In order to make the newly recruited employees are able to directly perform tasks, the employees are preferably recruited from Employment with Specific Time Agreement (PKWT) personnel, Outsourcing (OS) and Intake Renewal.
The new employees will be placed throughout Pos Indonesia’s technical executing unit all across Indonesia in order to strengthen Pos Indonesia’s business operations which is continuously growing.
Moreover, Febriyanto explains that the selection process was began in February 2016 through online registration and in several knockout stages. Phase I is Administrative Selection and Skills Assessment. Phase II is potential test / psychological test. Phase III is interview and Data Validation stage. Phase IV is Health examination. The recruitment processes are carried out with the participation of Indonesian Postal Workers Union with the assistance from a competent independent recruitment consultant, starting from the selection process until the end of the test.
