BANDUNG - Train transportation mode is still a favorite of the community as a means of transportation for various moments, as is the case for the Christmas holidays 2019 and New Year 2020 (Nataru)
According to the Public Relations Manager of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Regional Operations 2 Bandung, Noxy Citrea Bridara, based on data compiled, the total number of passengers using the train on the Nataru holiday until yesterday had reached 68,697 passengers or reached 102 percent.
"The total number of Nataru 2019/2020 passengers on Daop 2 on D-day was 68,697 passengers, reaching 102%, up 2% compared to 2018 with 67,551 passengers," Noxy said, at Daops 2 Bandung office on Thursday (12/26).
Based on passenger volume data for the Nataru Transport Period 2019/2020 on D-Day, Wednesday (12/25), for 7,224 passenger trains, it reached 109 percent, up 9 percent compared to 2016 with 6,614 passengers.
For business train passengers, there were 543 passengers or 51 percent achieved compared to 2018 with 1,055 passengers and for Economy Train with 10,359 passengers reaching 112 percent or up 12 percent compared to 2018 with 9,229 passengers.
Whereas for Local Railway passengers operating in Daops 2 Bandung reached 50,571 passengers or reached 100 percent compared to 2018 as many as 50,653 passengers.
Of these, the cumulative number of passengers of Main and Local Railways up to the day of the day (December 19-25) was 441,592 passengers reached 97 percent compared to 2018 of 453,580 passengers. (Parno)
