BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil appreciates the publication of books written by 30 West Java women in commemoration of Mother's Day 2019. According to Kang Emil, the familiar greeting of the West Java Governor, the book proves that West Java is very respectful and gives ample scope for women's gait.
"This proves that West Java gives ample room for women to address their roles. It is also proven that 3 university chancellors in Bandung are currently held by great women namely ITB, Unpad and UPI," Emil explained, after the launch of 30 women's books, in the Circle of Friends. Pasundan Jl. Sumatra City of Bandung, Saturday (11/21/2019).
In addition, Kang Emil also mentioned that the Women's School Achieve and Dreaming Program or Sekoper Cinta is proof that the West Java Provincial Government is very concerned with increasing the capacity of women in West Java.
"Indeed, the end is a matter of economics, but to get the economic progress of the family, women must be empowered and to be empowered requires knowledge," explained Kang Emil.
The publication of a book by the 30 great women is a reminder that West Java has a female hero who defends women's rights to the right to education and power, namely Dewi Sartika, currently celebrated as National Mother's Day. (Even)
