    Ghana's Ministry of Defense Interested in Buying Pindad Products

    BANDUNG - The main tool manufacturer of weapons systems or defense equipment in Indonesia PT Pindad (Persero) established cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Ghana. This was stated in the Letter of Intent (LOI) signed by PT Pindad (Persero) Managing Director Abraham Mose with the Ghana Ministry of Defense represented by Chief Director, Evans A. Dzikum in Jakarta, Friday (11/22/2019).

    The country in the West African region is very interested in defense and industrial products produced by PT Pindad. Ghana's Defense Minister Dominic BA Nitiwul said he was very interested and committed to buying defense and industrial products produced by Pindad as well as collaborating on joint development of defense products.

    Abraham Mose said that Pindad was now very ready to support the needs of defense and industrial products needed by the Ghana Ministry of Defense. Some of these supports include supplying defense and Industrial products, building MROs and after-sales services which include training and the establishment of physical facilities. Another thing agreed in the LOI is the technology transfer program in building technology mastery capabilities.

    Some other defense products include, light weapons such as Pistol, Assault Riffle, Submachine Gun, Machine Gun, and others. Tactical Vehicles and Tire Wheel Combat Vehicles and Chain Wheel Combat Vehicles and Amphibian Vehicles. Not only that in the Industrial Products sector which includes Heavy Equipment: 20 Ton Excavators, Amphibian Excavators, 5 Ton Excavators, and other Industrial Products.

    The signing of the LOI is the first step in strategic good relations for both parties. Both commitments are in line with the spirit of the Indonesian government to establish military cooperation with the Government of Ghana. Jo
