CIANJUR REGENCY- Together with the Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, representatives of students from West Java who participated in the Milenials Camp declared anti-radicalism in the Mandalawangi Campsite, Kab. Cianjur, Wednesday (11/19/19).
According to Uu, by strengthening the values of Pancasila, students can become the frontline in detecting radicalism. Therefore, he said that the Milenials Camp activities are important and very beneficial for students.
"Our hope for millennials who will continue the leadership relay must be committed to having a strong sense of patriotism," Uu said.
"Our hope, those who have learned are conveyed to other students and their friends including from the teacher as well," he added.
Uu also stated, students or young generation in West Java must maintain the foundation of the Indonesian state.
"We often see in the media as if there is a movement that will undermine the basis of the state, if it exists then young people must fight their movements as intellectual agents," he said.
In these activities, BNPT (National Counterterrorism Agency) also provided material to increase student awareness of the dangers of radicalism, terrorism, and hoaxes.
