    Dinkes Ready to Guard PON’s Athletes


    BANDUNG-West Java Health Department set up a medical team consisting of doctors, paramedics and other support resources for the implementation of PON XIX/2016 and the National Paralympic Week (Peparnas) XV/2016 in West Java.

    Health Department Chief Dr Alma Luchyati Jabar said it had set points of health post for PON XIX/2016 including coordination with Sub PON XIX/2016 as an organiser in the area.

    Health services provided is since the arrival of the contingent for the PON and Peparnas. Services are provided to all the organisers, invitations and other parties involved in PON and Peparnas and other members of the contingent.

    Health posts, according to him, will be placed in the terminal arrival and departure of participants, accommodation of participants, venues and on-site activities of Peparnas and PON.

    Each post will be occupied by a medical team consisting of a doctor, two nurses and one officer ambulances equipped with medical equipment in accordance with the standards of the operational handling of the PON and Peparnas.

    "PB PON also provides health services to the public exigency spectators who suffered illness or injury while watching or following the official activities of PON and Peparnas," said Alma.
