BANDUNG CITY - Acting West Java Governor Uu Ruzhanul Ulum said that schools must be child-friendly and technology-based.
"Schools must be child-friendly, also technology-based. Children must be innovators," Uu said when declaring the Child Friendly School Program (SRA), Integrity Schools and Schools of Communication Information Technology (SeBaTIK), at SMA Negeri 1 Bandung , Bandung City, Tuesday (5/11/19).
According to Uu, High Schools must also provide character education to students. One goal is to create a conducive atmosphere.
Child Friendly School itself is a school that engages children in all activities, social life, and encourages students' growth and development.
So, said Uu, schools must create conditions, situations that are safe, healthy and clean. The goal is that the child's physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development.
In order to realize Child Friendly Schools, Uu asks schools to pay attention to several aspects, namely school programs that are in accordance with the dynamics of the times, the school environment that supports student activities, and adequate school infrastructure.
"Also do not miss the planting of noble values, morals, as well as cultural arts. Education staff must also be trained," said Uu ended.
Also attending were high school principals in Bandung and Cimahi in the SRA and SeBaTIK declarations.
