BANDUNG-West Java DPRD member from Golkar Amanah, H. Yomanius Untung, Spd received dozens of students from the HMI Branch of Bandung in the West Java DPRD Building Lobby, Jalan Diponegoro, Bandung, Monday (18/4/16).

On the occasion, Yomanius explained about the procurement of cars for members of West Java DPRD as those raised by the students led by the Chairman of HMI Branch Bandung, Ganjar Darussalam.

"It is true that in the 2016 budget has been allocated procurement of operational vehicles of the legislators. And it is for operational vehicles legislators in West Java. In terms of procedure, the procurement of operational vehicles has been taken,” said Vice Chairman of Commission V West Java DPRD.

Untung explained, the operational vehicles are now being used by the West Java parliament is operational vehicles in 2010 and 2011, there was no operational vehicles for legislators in 2013.

In terms of fairness, according to Untung, the procurement of operational vehicles for West Java DPRD member refers to Law No. 23 Year 2014 on Regional Government states that legislators parallel to echelon II.

"The fellow is not an issue when questioned on the provision of operational vehicles of the legislators. It was as inputs. Indeed, if you talk to the fairness issue, the procurement of the vehicle leasing its nature, the consequences are no operational support costs for vehicles. Thus, in contrast to official vehicles,” he said.

It becomes difficult to gauge whether this is considered inappropriate or not, but the reference that measurability is Law No. 23 of 2014. Reference measurability is that legislators in West Java parallel to echelon II.

"Learning to us all that this procurement was not making it up, as adjusted by the legislation," he concluded.
