Youth Innovation Summit 2019: West Java Governor Gives Award to Outstanding Youth

BANDUNG CITY - Commemorating the 91st Youth Oath Day on October 28, 2019, the Provincial Government of West Java (West Java) through the Youth and Sports Service held the 2019 Youth Innovation Summit at the Arcamanik Sport Center Youth Building, Bandung City, Monday (28) / 10/2019).

In the event that featured various works of innovation and the title of this young entrepreneurial product, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil appreciated and presented awards to outstanding young pioneers from various fields in West Java.

"On this Youth Pledge Day, I give appreciation to young achievers," said Emil - the familiar greeting of Ridwan Kamil, who handed over awards directly to young achievers.

The categories of awards given to the high achievers include the fields of natural resources and the environment, food, technological innovation, religion, social and culture, education, outstanding young entrepreneurs, agriculture, culinary, and youth organizations.

According to Emil, West Java continues to create new breakthroughs in strengthening the quality of youth resources. In addition to appreciating young achievers at the 2019 Youth Innovation Summit, one of them is through the Jabar Future Leader program in which 30 youths serve as governor's aides to be trained as leaders.

In addition, there is a Jabar Innovation Fellowship program where creative young people are assigned to various agencies to provide innovative ideas.

"We are tasked with innovative and creative young people to provide innovative ideas to the agencies, this is the theory of Pentahelix and Government 3.0 at the youth level," Emil said.

Emil was convinced that the pattern of coaching to youth through various excellent programs of West Java Provincial Government was able to make the West Java youth maintained their quality of life and were ready to face the challenges of the times.

"I am convinced by the pattern carried out by us (West Java Provincial Government) and dripping down to the regencies and cities, of the nearly 50 million Jabar residents, the majority of them are maintained their quality of life," Emil said.
