TASIKMALAYA REGENCY - In the momentum of the 91st Youth Oath Day on October 28, 2019, the Deputy Governor of West Java (West Java) Uu Ruzhanul gave four preconditions so that Indonesian youth, especially West Java, become superior generations and play a role in national and state life.
According to Uu, there are four preconditions that Indonesian youth can be useful to the nation and the state and be resilient in facing challenges in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era.
The first requirement, said Uu, today's young generation needs to have competence in the field of computer technology. "Master the world of information technology, especially the computer world, otherwise it will be out of date," Uu said at the Pimaslahateun for Village (Ngopi Desa) Chat in Da'wah Building in Cibalong District, Tasikmalaya Regency, Monday (10/28/19).
Second, continued Uu, youth must be able to communicate with the community. Uu said, the tongue of youth needs to learn to talk in conveying creative ideas. While the third prerequisite, young people are required to be able to work together with anyone as part of a way to become a successful person.
"And fourth, young people must be able to keep up with the changing times. Of these four conditions, of course, they must be framed with faith and devotion. The implementation of faith and piety is akhlaqul karimah, noble and noble character, "Uu added.
In Ngopi Desa with the theme 'Advanced Indonesian Strong Village' coinciding with the commemoration of the Youth Pledge, Uu also invited all elements of youth to continue to improve national unity.
"Moreover, young people are currently the future leaders of the relay of development. Therefore, the momentum (Youth Pledge) this time is the momentum of unity, "said Uu.
"With unity we will be able to become a strong nation. National unity and integrity as the basis for the advancement of a country, "he said.
The West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) under the leadership of Governor Ridwan Kamil and Uu themselves has rolled out various excellent programs, including Jabar Future Leader, Jabar Innovation Fellowship, One Village One Company (OVOC), to Jabar Masagi's education.
Uu also hopes that youth in West Java can become partners with the government to develop the province with the largest population in Indonesia through direct involvement in these programs.
"I hope that West Java youth are able to communicate, work together to become government partners in all West Java Province programs," Uu said.
