BANDUNG - West Java Deputy Governor Uu Ruzhanul Ulum specifically expressed his gratitude to the West Java Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) for his role in awakening and reviving handicraft craftsmen in the region. With the role of Dekrnasda, according to Uu, the craftsmen in the regions gained additional insight, skills and even marketing their handicrafts. This was revealed by Uu in the opening remarks of the 13th West Java Craft Week (PKJB) or West Java Crafastival 2019 on Jalan Diponegoro in front of Gedung Sate, Friday (10/25/2019)
"I have to say thank you to Dekranasda who has helped the craftsmen in the area," he said.
The craftsmen who are proven to have economic resilience in facing various crises, are able to continue to maintain its existence. Especially after receiving assistance from the National Education Board embraced.
"These SMEs have proven themselves able to withstand various economic crises. Especially when Dekranasda is currently helping and developing them, not only makes them able to survive, but also improves their economy," Uels said.
Uu affirmed that the Provincial Government is committed to continue to help the craft SMEs to continue to improve the quality and quantity.
"Through a partnership with Dekranasda, the West Java provincial government is committed to advancing handicraft SMEs," he concluded.
PKJB or Crafastival 2019 takes place from 25-26 October 2019 by presenting various superior handicraft products from the regencies of cities in West Java. The event was also filled with various batik fashion shows and competitions from the heads of OPD. (Even)
