    PT DI Sends Plane to Thailand

    BANDUNG - PTDI delivered 1 (one) NC212i aircraft for the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) of Thailand and today on October 22, 2019 a ferry flight has taken place from the PTDI Hanggar Delivery Center, Jl. Pajajaran No. 154 Bandung, heading for Nakhon Sawan Air Base, Muang, Nakhon Sawan, Thailand, which is scheduled to arrive on October 24, 2019.

    PTDI's Director of Commerce, Ade Yuyu Wahyuna, reviewed the preparation and release of the NC212i ferry flight which would then be operated by the Department of the Rain Making and Agricultural Aviation, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC), Thailand.
    Capt. Esther Gayatri Saleh, PTDI Chief Test Pilot as Pilot In Command Ferry and Acceptance Mission, and Capt.

    Ervan Gustanto as Chief of Mission Copilot flew NC212i from Husein Sastranegara Airport, Bandung to Hang Nadim Airport, Batam, then flew back to Hat Yai International Airport, Thailand, south near the Malaysian border and continued to Nakhon Sawan Air Base, Muang, Nakhon Sawan, Thailand, as the last destination.

    The NC212i will carry out Final Acceptance by the Department of the Rain Making and Agricultural Aviation, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) of Thailand, on October 25, 2019.

    The signing of the procurement contract for 2 (two) NC212i aircraft was carried out on March 17, 2017 between PTDI and A.I.C.E. Enterprises (Thai) Co., Ltd. with the end user is the Department of the Rain Making and Agricultural Aviation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) of Thailand. The remaining 1 (one) aircraft from the 2 (two) NC212i aircraft procurement contract is planned to be handed over by the end of this year. JO
