BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil congratulates Joko Widodo-Ma'ruf Amin who officially became President-Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia 2019-2024 on Sunday (10/20/19).

"We congratulate on behalf of the Regional Government of West Java Province to Mr. Jokowi and Ma'ruf Amin as President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia," Emil said - familiar greeting Ridwan Kamil.

"This is the result of a democratic process that has been decided and agreed upon. So, let's support it. Because after all the next five years will be met by challenges, "he added.

On the same occasion, Emil also expressed a number of hopes to Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin. First, he hopes that Indonesia's economic growth will be maintained. Then, the social and political conditions of the country are increasingly conducive and there is not much turmoil.

"My hope is only one, in the first period, the economy is moving forward, I feel, but there has been a lot of social and political turmoil. Hopefully in the second period, the economy will be as advanced, as jumping, and social and political conducive to inner and outer will not be much turmoil, "he said.

"All differences can be resolved by communication. That is his hope. Hopefully we can become a great nation. According to predictions we will become a superpower in 2045, "Emil continued.

In addition, Emil asked the Presidents and Vice Presidents for the 2019-2024 period to pay attention to West Java. The reason, Pasundan Land became the area with the largest population, which is approximately 50 million people or 20 percent of Indonesia's population.

"I hope that the president will prioritize the provinces with the largest population, the total population of West Java is 20 percent of Indonesia. So, I ask for technical expectations," Emil said.

"There must be regional expansion. Then, there is fiscal justice because at present the financial assistance is still unfair because it is larger in provinces with large numbers of regions rather than large populations, hopefully this hope can be fulfilled in the second period," Emil concluded.
