REGENCY OF SUBANG - Part of the realization of the community empowerment program, the Regional Government of West Java Province plans to train young santri or millennial students throughout West Java on how to raise cattle properly.
According to the Deputy Governor of West Java, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, the purpose of the training was to develop entrepreneurial interests and the potential of millennial students in a number of pesantren.
"Millennial students will receive training, including in raising animals such as poultry and cattle," Uu said, during a working visit to PT Hade Dinamis Sejahtera in Kec. Cipeundeuy, Kab. Subang, Friday (18/10).
Deputy Governor said, later the students will be given training at PT Hade Dinamis Sejahtera for one month and if they are able, the students will later get back the assistance of cows for students who have been educated.
"We hope that in the future the millennial queue will have to contribute to community-based social economic development, to produce millennial students as entrepreneurs, the One Pesantren One Product (OPPO) program," he said. (Parno)
