Previously, Mount Tangkuban Parahu status was determined to be level II or Waspada after an eruption on 26 July 2019.

Head of the PVMBG of the Kasbani Geological Agency said that with the decline in status to Normal, the Tangkuban Parahu Nature Tourism Park (TWA) could already be visited by tourists, with a number of provisions.

Tourism activities were closed at that time until an undetermined time. Now it's normal, "he said in the office of the geological agency on Monday.

According to him, based on visual monitoring data, there were no eruptions, no ash emissions and relatively stable and low gas emissions. Meanwhile, in terms of seismic instruments, the vibrations and deformation of the development of the mountain deflates decreases and is stable.

"Since last month there has been no eruption especially accompanied by ash emissions. Only white smoke with an average height of 50 meters," he said. Jo
