    West Java Deputy Governor Hope Graduates of Muhammadiyah STIKES Contribute to Regional Development


    CIAMIS REGENCY- Deputy Governor of West Java, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, said that tertiary institutions are one of the leading places for Human Resources (HR). Therefore, universities contribute to regional development because they are able to prepare quality human resources.

    Uu also stated, West Java will get a demographic bonus. Demographic bonus is a condition in an area where the population of productive age is greater than the population of unproductive age. The productive age itself is in the range of 15-64 years.

    "Do not let this demographic bonus become a demographic disaster, this opportunity must be utilized to the maximum," Uu said while giving a speech at the Graduation Ceremony of the Muhammadiyah CIKIS STIKES Academic Year 2018/2019 at the Islamic Center Building, Kab. Ciamis, Wednesday (9/10/19).

    "This is an opportunity for us, West Java can take a role and make Indonesia a developed country, where one of the conditions is the readiness of human resources," he added.

    According to Uu, the West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) really awaits breakthroughs, fresh ideas, and innovations from Muhammadiyah STIKES graduates to accelerate development while realizing the vision of West Java Champion Born Inner.

    "We hope and wait for the contribution from STIKES graduates to help realize West Java the Champion of the Inner Birth, namely in improving the quality of health, as well as the superiority of West Java Human Resources," he said.

    On the same occasion, Uu advised the graduates of STIKES Muhammadiyah Ciamis to apply the knowledge they have mastered in social life. The goal is that the knowledge possessed is beneficial to the community.

    "Hopefully the graduates of Muhammadiyah Ciamis STIKES, in this time and future will be able to show their usefulness for the life and welfare of the community," he said.

    Even so with the Regent Ciamis Herdiat Sunarya who asked graduates of Muhammadiyah STIKES to implement knowledge in the midst of society. "Today is graduation, hopefully tomorrow the day after tomorrow can directly implement knowledge in the community," he said.

    Herdiat also hoped that STIKES Muhammadiyah Ciamis would continue to develop and produce superior human resources. "At the moment the average length of school in Ciamis Regency is 7.6 points, in the future we certainly expect to improve. This we need cooperation and joint supervision control," Herdiat said.

    Meanwhile, Muhammadiyah Chairil Anwar Deputy Chairperson of the Central Leadership Education and Training Chairil Anwar said, as many as 493 graduates had succeeded in getting their education in their respective fields well.

    "On behalf of the leader of the Muhammadiyah center, I congratulate the graduates, for their achievements," Chairil said.

    "I am very sure that STAMES Muhammadiyah Ciamis has prepared graduates to be able to engage in the community very well," he added.
