BANDUNG - Head of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) Suhardi Alius stressed that high vigilance remains in force especially ahead of the inauguration of RI-1 on 20 October.
"Don't under estimate, we all strengthen vigilance, maintain coolness and a comfortable environment," he said at Gedung Sate after meeting West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil to hold a meeting on deradicalization efforts in West Java, Thursday (3/10).
He said if there is a group of people who want to express their aspirations, do it in accordance with the existing constitution so as not to cause a movement that is not good for the integrity of this nation.
The governor said that a good program and synergy between the West Java Provincial Government and BNPT were needed to strengthen the de-radicalization in West Java.
"We are committed to that, aka designing a new way of looking at the latest dynamics. West Java must become a model," he said.
He said West Java should be an example of an area where people are far from anxiety, hatred and others by involving multi-dimensional interests ranging from youth, police, military, clerics and others.
"The task is at BNPT, the technical will be discussed later," he said. Jo
