West Java Deputy Governor Said Notary Role to Make Legal Certainty for the Government

BANDUNG CITY- Deputy Governor of West Java (West Java) Uu Ruzhanul Ulum said, the existence of notaries is needed by the state. Even though the notary is a public official, the Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) and the West Java regency / city government really need legal legality from a notary public.

This was conveyed by Uu while attending the inauguration ceremony of the West Java Regional Board of Indonesia Notary Association (INI) for the 2019-2022 period in the West Hall of Gedung Sate, Bandung City, Thursday (3/10/19).

"Therefore, the existence of a notary is needed by the Regional Government of West Java Province to legalize, calm, make legal certainty of ownership of a person, make legal certainty in community and government contracts," Uu said.

The inauguration itself is based on the Decree of the Regional Management Chairperson of the West Java Regional Management Structure and the West Java Regional Management Working Group Indonesian Notary Association for the 2019-2022 Period Number: 41 / K / 01-10 / Jabar-INI / 2019 Regional Office, established in Bandung, October 3, 2019.

Uu did not forget to extend his congratulations to THIS West Java management, which is chaired by Irfan Ardiansyah.

"Congratulations on the inauguration of the management that has been confirmed. Hopefully the appointed board will bring minimal progress for these members and the maximum community in West Java, "Uu said.

"We thank you for the work and services of a large family of notaries in West Java," he added.

In the new management period, Uu also hoped that the inaugurated INI management in West Java could continue to work closely with the West Java Provincial Government and the Regency / City Governments throughout West Java.

The Chairman of the Regional Board of West Java INI Irfan Ardiansyah for a while said, the number of INI members in West Java numbered approximately 4,000 people spread over the management in 25 regencies / cities in West Java.

"We are ready to work with all existing local governments and the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights," said Irfan.

With the number of thousands of members, Irfan said the notaries in West Java had succeeded in collecting tax fees for the acquisition of land and building rights (BPHTB) which is not small. Later, he hopes there is management cooperation for BPHTB and Income Tax (PPh).

"We, from the notary public and PPAT (Land Deed Making Official), want to work together. Hopefully in managing BPHTB and PPH it can be implemented. So, if it can be followed up so we can play a role there, "he said.

The notary as a profession has an important role because as a public official, a notary is one of the state organs equipped with legal authority to provide public services to the public, especially the making of an authentic deed as a perfect evidence regarding legal actions in the civil field.

In addition, authentic deeds are needed in various business relationships, for example activities in banking, land, social activities, to the capital market.
