    Ridwan Kamil Conveyed Directly the Aspirations of the West Java Community to the Chairperson of the Indonesian Parliament


    JAKARTA - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil conveyed the aspirations of the people of West Java, especially students and students, to the deputy chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) Rachmat Gobel in Jakarta, Wednesday (2/10/19).

    "West Java residents, especially students and students who yesterday expressed their aspirations. Today (Wednesday, October 2, 2019), a document containing the aspirations that have been submitted, Alhamdulillah, the Regional Government of West Java Province through me, has conveyed it to Pak Rachmat Gobel as the leader of the House of Representatives, "said Emil - greeting Ridwan Kamil.

    Previously, Emil met and listened to the aspirations of the protesters consisting of students and students in front of Gedung Sate on Saturday (28/9) yesterday. Lapse of three days or on Tuesday (1/10), Emil together with West Java Deputy Governor Uu Ruzhanul Ulum returned to meet and absorb the aspirations of students who are members of the Islamic Student Association (HMI).

    The main points of aspiration are the rejection of the Draft Law (RUU) which is considered problematic, and asks the police to release the activists and students who are detained and conduct an investigation of the victims who fell including students who died.

    Emil also hopes that the West Java people's aspirations to be followed up by the DPR RI. "Hopefully these West Java aspirations can be followed up according to applicable laws and regulations," he said.

    Meanwhile, Rachmat Gobel said that he would immediately convey the aspirations of the people of West Java to the leadership of the Indonesian Parliament. "God willing, tomorrow (Thursday, October 3, 2019), I will convey to the new leadership," he said.
