This was conveyed by Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Rini M. Soemarno, in the Family Catering event at the 74th Anniversary of PT KAI at the Pusdiklat Ir. H. Djuanda, Sunday (29/09).

According to Rini, in addition to targeting countries in Southeast Asia, namely Laos and Cambodia, Indonesia also received an offer to reactivate the railroad in Madagascar, which is already serious about using INKA (PT Industri Kereta Api).

"Currently the team from PT KAI, PT INKA, and other related SOEs are in Madagascar to conduct a study so that it is hoped that Indonesian companies can go global," he said.

According to Rini, in addition to the physical procurement of trains that are PT INKA's specialty, the cooperation with these countries will also be carried out to the technical operation which will also involve other SOEs.

"Not only providing the train, other overseas cooperation, offers are also given until the operation," he said.
