West Java Provincial Government Supports Korsupgah Assessment as a Corruption Prevention Commitment

BANDUNG CITY- The Provincial Government of West Java is committed to preventing corruption. This can be seen from the Corruption Prevention and Corruption Prevention (Korsupgah) assessment of the KPK RI via the West Java Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) which reached 56 percent in September 2019.

"The KPK assessment for West Java Province is 56 percent. Above the national average level of reporting," West Java Deputy Governor Uu Ruzhanul Ulum said after attending the Korsupgah and MCP Progress Action Plan Coordination Meeting at Gedung Sate, Bandung City, Tuesday (24/9 / 19).

"The prevention of corruption in West Java Province is as much as possible," added Uu.

There were eight DPOs included in the MCP intervention area, namely BPKAD, Bappeda, the Regional Secretariat of the Provincial Organization. West Java, Bureau of Procurement of Goods and Services of the Regional Secretariat of Prov. West Java, BPSDM, DPMPTSP, and the Office of Education.

According to Uu, the reporting made by the eight OPDs has been going well. Therefore, he is also optimistic that the level of reporting and supervision of OPD in West Java Provincial Government will continue to improve. Even so with the assessment of the KPK RI Korsupgah to West Java Provincial Government.

"So, we are sure that in December 2019 the offices that have been intervened by the KPK will reach 70 percent quality," he said.

"We also have a good intention. The Regional Government of West Java Province, God willing, will try to be free from corruption," he added.

Uu also asked all DPOs in the West Java Provincial Government to be careful in carrying out their main duties and functions. This was done to avoid all forms of opportunities for corruption and potential extortion.

In order to increase corruption prevention, said Uu, there needs to be commitment from all parties. He also ensured that the West Java Provincial Government under his leadership with the West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil was committed to preventing corruption.

"So, the point is not to carry out the slightest corruption in West Java. Because the KPK monitors the slightest," he said.

"We renew the intention, there must be a joint intention. God willing, I and Kang Emil (Governor of West Java) not to commit violations, including corruption violations, including commitments from the father and mother as well," said Uu ended.
