Mobile Training Unit Can Optimize OVOC and OPOP Programs in Villages

CIANJUR REGENCY - Mobile Training Unit Program (MTU) from the West Java Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) Force IX in the culinary and electricity welding sector at the Winata Mekar Teacher's Building, Cikadu, Cianjur Regency, was officially closed Friday (9/20/19) .

MTU itself is an independent work training that is carried out in a community residence by presenting the MTU fleet.

According to the Deputy Governor of West Java (West Java) Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, MTU presents professionals directly as teachers to the public. This West Java MTU training focuses on the agriculture, tourism and entrepreneurship sectors.

Uu also welcomed positively the MTU program under the efforts of the Smart Nakertrans Disnakertrans West Java. With MTU, the community does not need to go to training places, but the country that is present in the middle of the community provides training.

"By providing training, both at the level of hard skills and soft skills, work training aims to increase the quality and competitiveness of the participants so that later they can have work opportunities and business opportunities," Uu said.

It is hoped that the workforce that has received training will be able to develop their businesses independently so that the unemployment rate can decrease, while increasing the economy of rural communities.

"This is a solution to improve expertise, can work in various fields. Hopefully, young people who have been trained can work independently or work in industry," Uu added.

Head of West Java Manpower and Transmigration Department Mochamad Ade Apriandi, meanwhile said MTU could support the realization of the One Village One Company (OVOC) program, One Pesantren One Product (OPOP), as well as other excellent programs according to the vision of West Java Juara Born and Batin.

That, Ade added, because the ability of existing labor resources to cultivate village potential could be trained through MTU.

"Cikadu is one of the pioneering villages to become the Champion Village. This village was also initially left behind, now there have been changes including roads, electricity, water is still a problem. Disnakertrans's main program is Smart Nakertrans, with this MTU," said Ade.

"The effort is, how can the rural community prosper without having to go to the city. The West Java Provincial Government is present in the village, together developing the village, developing human resources into labor," he concluded.

Hospitality Between the Deputy Governor and Residents Cikadu
Aside from closing the MTU of Batch IX in Cikadu, Uu also took time to meet with the community at Al Muhajirin Mosque.

Beginning Friday prayers in congregation, Uu then lunch with dozens of residents around. According to him, hospitality is the way to open communication with the community.

"The key to communication is friendship. Because friendship strengthens emotional relationships," Uu said.

Uu also said that unity and harmony need to be knitted in ukuwah Islamiyah (religious ties), wathoniyah (compatriots), and insaniyah (fellow human beings).

"With unity and harmony, conduciveness will be created. In a conducive climate, programs launched by the government can run as expected," Uu said ending.
