BANDUNG CITY - Deputy Governor of West Java hopes that the graduates of the Pariwisa High School (STP) Bandung will be the driving force for Indonesia's tourism development, especially West Java.

"Hopefully the great HR (Human Resources) owned by STP can make West Java a tourism province," Uu said after attending the Graduation Ceremony of STP Bandung in Postgraduate, Bachelor, Diploma IV and Diploma III Programs in 2019, at STP Bandung, Bandung, Monday (9/19/19).

According to Uu, tourism development is one of the West Java Provincial Government in the development. The aim is to increase Local Revenue (PAD) and community welfare.

Moreover, said Uu, West Java has great tourism potential in each region. Therefore, there are three steps that must be taken to develop tourism in West Java.

"First, the improvement of supporting facilities to attractions, secondly to build new tourism areas, and encourage the Special Economic Zones (KEK) tourism in various regions," he said.

"Kang Emil (Governor of West Java) has ordered me to look for tourism in villages that have not yet developed, but has the potential to be developed. Then, we develop and provide funds," he added.

Uu said, this shows the seriousness of West Java Provincial Government in order to become a tourism province. "It means we are not playing games to improve tourism," he said.

On the same occasion, Uu also appreciated STP Bandung for collaborating with various companies, so that graduates could immediately work. This time, STP Bandung inaugurated 28 postgraduates, 60 graduates, 191 Diploma IV, and 331 Diploma III.

"STP has done that, it means it has accelerated our vision and mission, which is collaborating. Congratulations to the graduates, hopefully they will be useful for the nation and state," concluded Uu.
