BANDUNG - West Java Central Statistics Agency (BPS) said the Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of Hotels in West Java in July 2019 reached 49.03 percent, up 1.46 points compared to the TPK in June 2019 which reached 47.57 percent. Both ROR for star and non-star hotels increased.
The ROR for star hotels in July 2019 was 54.69 percent, up 1.56 points compared to the ROR in June 2019 which reached 53.13 percent. The highest ROR according to star-class hotels in June 2019 was recorded at 5-star hotels by 74.61 percent, while the lowest ROR at 1-star hotels was 37.63 percent.
The ROR for non-star hotels in July 2019 was 34.13 percent, up 1.23 points compared to June 2019 which was recorded at 32.90 percent. The highest ROR for non-star hotels occurred in hotels with 25-40 room groups at 42.95 percent. While the lowest non-star hotel ROR of 27.77 percent occurred in hotels with a group of rooms above 10 units.
Head of West Java Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Distribution Head Dudung Supriyadi said the average length of stay of guests in July 2019 star hotels was 1.60 days and at non-star hotels for 1.18 days. Foreign guests stay in star hotels for an average of 3.28 days and in non-star hotels for 1.87 days, while Indonesian guests stay an average of 1.53 days in star hotels and 1.17 days in non-star hotels .
Meanwhile foreign arrivals via the Husein Sastranegara Airport in July 2019 were 12,606 people experiencing an increase of 42.38 percent compared to June 2019 which recorded 8,881 people. Tourists who came through the Port of Muarajati Cirebon were 39 crew members, down 71.74 percent compared to June 2019 with 138 people recorded. Jo
