BANDUNG - Presidential Regulation (Perpres) no. 5 of 2019 concerning electric vehicles has been knocked. Welcoming this, the Ministry of Transportation held an Electric Vehicle Parade and Exhibition with the theme Towards a Clean Air and Energy-Saving Indonesia with Electric Vehicles, on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Central Jakarta National Monument field.
Sripeni Inten Cahyani, Acting Director of PLN, said that PLN was ready to support the era of electric vehicles. This support was realized in preparing the infrastructure of the Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU).
There are two SPKLU business schemes initiated by PLN, namely Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) and Partner Owned Partner Operated (POPO).
In addition, other support from PLN is to provide an additional electricity discount of 75% for owners of electric motors and a 100% discount or free for electric car owners, so that electric vehicle owners can use the charging station in each of their homes without electrical power constraints.
In addition to the additional power discount, PLN also provides a 30% electricity tariff discount for electric vehicle owners at night starting at 22:00 WIB until 04:00 WIB, valid from 1 September 2019.
"We make it easy for all parties who want to jointly develop electric vehicles. Starting from customers to partners who want to work together," he said through a press release by the PR of PLN.
In this exhibition and parade of electric vehicles this time PLN also participated in supporting the event with Powered by PLN because during the exhibition electricity supplies used PLN sources which were certainly pollution-free because they did not cause smoke.
