    West Java Provincial Government Hopes that West Java Paralympic Athletes Can Achieve the Best Achievements

    BANDUNG-West Java Provincial Government is optimistic that the Paralympic athletes of West Java who will strengthen the contingent on Peparnas 2020 can provide the best performance even though until now they have not conducted training camps due to budget constraints. This was stated by Deputy Governor of West Java, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum.

    "Although at the end, we are optimistic that athletes are already great, great and they have a love for the Pasundan region," said Uu, at Gedung Sate, Bandung, Friday (30/08).

    According to Uu, the West Java Provincial Government together with the West Java DPRD has set a 2019 Amendment APBD so that the needs of the West Java paralytic contingent can be fulfilled.

    "I will immediately coordinate with West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil so that the needs of the paralympic contingent can be fulfilled. We are trying to pay attention to the NPCI," Uu said, during a meeting with the NPCI board in Gedung Sate, Bandung, Friday (08/30).

    On the occasion, the Deputy Governor also gave his appreciation to the paralimpics athlete of West Java who won three gold medals at the 2019 Badminton World Championship, in Basel, Switzerland.

    The three medals were won by Deva Anri Musti and Hafizh Briliansyah (men's doubles), Hari Susanto and Leana Ratri (mixed doubles), and Deva Anri Musti (men's singles).

    Meanwhile, Hafizh Briliansyah is proud to have made Indonesia famous at the world level and can be hosted at Gedung Sate by the West Java Provincial Government.

    "From the results of this meeting, we hope that training camps will be conducted soon ahead of the 2020 National Military Guidelines," he said. (Parno)
