SUKABUMI REGENCY- Commemoration of National Family Day (Harganas) XXVI and National Children's Day (HAN) 2019 is a momentum to improve the quality of interaction between family members in order to realize family resilience.
As stated by Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum when opening the commemoration of Harganas XXVI and HAN 2019 West Java province level with the theme 'Family Day We All: Child Champion, Kaluarga Champion, West Java Champion' at Canghegar Square Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi Regency, Thursday (29) / 8/19).
"Hopefully, Harganas and HAN can be a momentum to bring closer and increase interaction between family members to realize family resilience," Uu said.
According to Uu, the Movement to Return to the Dining Table, which aims to realize the importance of the togetherness of all family members in activities such as performing worship and dinner, must be moved again.
"Therefore, in this moment of Harganas and HAN, let's take time for children. Don't let our time run out for work," he said.
At present, said Uu, there are still many problems related to family development. Of the 12,675,921 families in West Java, 1,123,951 or 8.99 percent are still in a pre-prosperous condition. "Namely eating twice a day, having different clothes for at home, school, work, traveling, the type of floor of the widest house is not land, when sick taken to a health facility," he said.
In addition, the average age of first married women is raised 20.2 years. The data illustrates, women in West Java married before continuing to higher education. Even so, the number of active family planning participants increased. In 2018, the number of family planning participants in West Java reached 7,486,443. This condition is inseparable from the hard work of KB cadres, PKB / PLKB, and TPD.
To solve problems related to family development, the West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) launched a number of programs. Among these are Like Ngabaso (Ngabring Ka Sakola), Sekoper Cinta (Women's School of Achieving Dreams and Dreams), Motekar (Motivator of Family Resilience).
On the same occasion, Uu said that the assistance and guidance of children were needed, providing good nutrition, fostering according to the level of development, strengthening religious values, and making schools a second home, to accelerate family development.
"All of this requires real support from all parties in an effort to realize the West Java families who are resilient and become child-friendly provinces," he concluded.
The commemoration of Harganas and HAN this year also emphasizes the involvement of individuals in the family structure through the four applications of the family approach. Among these families gather (reunting), families interact (interacting), empowered families (empowering) and families caring and sharing (sharing and caring).
