BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil expressed his deep sorrow over the passing of Ipda Erwin Yudha Wildani, a member of the Cianjur Police Station, who breathed his last in Jakarta Pertamina Central Hospital, Monday (8/26/19) at 1:38 WIB.
The deceased died after being treated for several days due to the burns he suffered while securing a demonstration in Cianjur, West Java.
"I convey deep condolences to the families left behind also to the families of the Cianjur police and West Java Regional Police," Emil said - greeting Ridwan Kamil, Monday (26/8).
As quoted from the official Twitter account of the National Police Public Relations Division, the late Ipda Erwin Yudha has devoted himself for 25 years 7 months and is survived by his wife and two children.
Emil also hopes that the perpetrators in the Cianjur incident will be dealt with firmly according to the applicable law. "I hope that those responsible are dealt with legally and decisively," Emil said.
So that something similar does not happen again, Emil also asks anyone who wishes to express their aspirations to do so through a good courtesy corridor.
According to Emil, aspirations can be conveyed without having to use violence.
"I ask anyone in the republic to express their aspirations, but it must be in a good manner, if the message arrives, why should use violence," Emil said.
"This is a lesson for students to do aspirations by the eastern ways that we use," he added.
The late Ipda Erwin Yudha who previously held the rank of Aiptu, suffered more than 50 percent burns in his body while securing a demonstration in Cianjur.
The deceased was buried on Monday (8/28) afternoon WIB at the Cianjur Regency Heroes' Park militarily. Acting as the leader of the Funeral Ceremony was the West Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Drs. Rudy Sufahriadi.
