    The Governor Joins in the Indonesian Independence Day Competition in Jatiluhur


    BANDUNG - West Java Governor, Ridwan Kamil is enthusiastic about participating in the people's race held by the residents of Jatimekar Village, Jatiluhur Subdistrict, Purwakarta Regency. The competition was held in the field next to the Saguling Reservoir on Sunday (8/18).

    Arrived at the location, the governor immediately mingled with the people and chatting with giving a number of questions that prizes. Questions asked included asking residents to name the districts and cities in West Java. He also invited children to join in singing Halo-halo Bandung.

    Then, the governor joined in becoming a sarong football team. Unexpectedly in the match, the governor managed to score two goals.

    "I had been tour for around two hours, seeing the potential of Jatiluhur as a new international class tourist location, and indeed it is very potential," he said.

    For this reason, he hopes that the residents of the Subdistrict prepare to receive tourist visits. For example preparing a homestay before there is a hotel, preparing superior products or souvenirs and tourist workers.
