    The Acting of PLN Managing Director: There isn't PLN Employee's Salary Cutting Regarding Customer Compensation


    BANDUNG - The Acting of PLN Managing Director, Sripeni Inten Cahyani, stated that there isn't employee's salary cutting, this was revealed with question regarding the giving of compensation for customers who got the blackouts.

    "To the PLN employees don't worry. Let's focus on serving the community. Management will not cut your pay regarding the compensation for customers, "he stated like what had been delivered by Press Release PT PLN, Thursday (8/8).

    According to her, the payment of compensation allocation has been set by the government. The compensation is given because the level of service satisfaction is not fulfilled. It means as a public company, it must ensure that the community enjoys a certain level of service, so if it doesn't work, PLN must provide compensation.

    "We emphasize that there is no relevance between salary and compensation," added Sripeni Inten Cahyani.

    Compensation is given in the form of non-cash, the laws and regulations are submitted to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 27/2017. The way is to give compensation in the form of cutting electricity bills which must be paid in the next month.

    Compensation will be given 35% of the adjustment cost  or minimum account for consumer in tariff adjustment. 20% of expenses or minimum account for Non-Adjustment customers. It is valid for next month's account.

    While for prepaid customers, the cutting of bill payment is equal to bill payments for regular electricity tariffs. Compensation will be given when a customer purchases the next token (prepaid) .

    Especially for premium customers, PLN will give compensation according to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) which has been signed together.

    Regarding power outage in most places on West of Java, DKI and Banten yesterday, PLN allocated compensation fee of Rp. 865 billion in accordance with a predetermined calculation. Jo
