    Investment in West Java Increases

BANDUNG - Bank Indonesia noted that there has been an increase in investment in West Java. In the first quarter of 2019 there was an increase in investment reaching 5.48 percent. This investment will continue to increase along with the massive number of large projects that were carried out this year.

Bank Indonesia West Java Representative Doni P Joewono said that the strategic infrastructure such as Patimban Port, Tol Bocimi, Cisumdawu and Jakarta Cikampek Elevated II encouraged investment in the first quarter of 2019 in West Java.

One of the projects that became an idol was the construction of the Patimban Port. When completed, the port will play an important role in improving industrial performance in West Java.

"In the future there will be a plan to develop the Rebana triangle area, which is expected to be integrated with BIJB and Patimban," he explained to reporters in Bandung.

The construction of the construction itself is already underway at the construction of the car terminal 1. Construction of toll road access to Patimban continues to be accelerated. According to Dodi, there is a need to think about overcoming access from industrial estates that currently exist around Cikampek, Karawang and Cikarang.

"Access to connectivity is important," he stressed.

In addition, Patimban toll road access will be connected to the Cipali toll road for 40 KM. The plan is still in the feasibility study stage.

BI said that investment growth in the first quarter of 2019 specifically for PMDN reached Rp1.65 trillion, which showed an increase. Jo
