TASIKMALAYA CITY - West Java Provincial Government will encourage the birth of millennial farmers. West Java Deputy Governor Uu Ruzhanul Ulum said that after opening the 47th Agricultural Krida Day in West Java Province in the City of Tasikmalaya, Tuesday (07/16/2019). According to Uu, efforts to give birth to millennial farmers are for the survival of the agricultural world in West Java.
"The millennials now no longer want to get dirty and scolded. Therefore, our West Java province will encourage the birth of millennial farmers by establishing many agricultural Vocational Schools and the use of modern agricultural tools and technology," said Uu.
Uu also asked the farming families to pass on the knowledge and culture of agriculture to their children.
"Yes, for example, if there are four children, one of them is encouraged to become a farmer with modern technology so that the results are maximized," he said.
According to Uu, if he is not born with new farmers, he is worried that agriculture in West Java will continue to decrease, so that one day there will be no agriculture in West Java. (Even)
