BANDUNG - This year, state-owned PT Pindad targets revenue or turnover of 5.2 trillion rupiah. To achieve this target, Pindad boosted the latest production, especially non-military products.
Director of Industrial Products Business PT Pindad Heri Heriswan said that currently the process of military and non-military products is 70 percent compared to 30 percent.
"In the future we want fifty-fifty between military and non-military," he said in the Pindad office on Friday (12/7).
He said the production capacity in Pindad was still large enough to increase production, both military and non-military products. So according to him the marketing program will continue to be improved to achieve the company's targets.
"One of them is to improve the Pindad service business. We think 10 to 20 percent of service businesses will be able to support the achievement of targets," he explained.
The mainstay products that will be pursued include the making of electric generators, electric motor drives to the care of fire engines.
"We have talked with Angkasa Pura for the maintenance of firefighters at the airport," he said. Jo
