    Regional R & D Institutions Must Be Ready to Face the Industrial Revolution 4.0

    BANDUNG- In an effort to increase the capacity of the Regional Research and Development Agency (BPPD) in 2019, as many as 60 participants from the R & D institutions of the City / District and Province in Indonesia followed the BPPD Institutional Strengthening Workshop.

    Director of Research and Development, Director General of Institutional Sciences, Technology of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Kemal Prihatman hoped that this activity with the theme "Better Synergy" could increase the capacity and capability of R & D institutions in cities and districts,

    "The capacity and capability, the Regional R & D Institution needs to be improved because it is heading towards Indonesia's 4.0 industrial revolution," Kemal said, at the BPPD Institutional Strengthening Workshop, at GH Universal, Wednesday (10/07).

    According to Kemal, the most important thing for Regional R & D Institutions in the future is institutional strengthening, Human Resources (HR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as well as the need for synergy and collaboration between institutions, both city / district, provincial and central regions.

    "There are a number of things that can be synergized related to the placement of needs, HR, program solutions, we will finish it," he said.

    A number of speakers who will provide material in the activity which took place starting today Wednesday (10/07) to Thursday (11/07) include the Head of LIPI, Prof. L.T. Handoko with material about "Potential of Science and Technology Results for Regional Competitiveness", then Head of Ministry of Home Affairs BPP, Dodi Riyadmaji with material on "BPPD as HUB of R & D Development in Regions".
