    West Java Provincial Government Urges CIvil Servants to Use BIJB for Official Travel

    BANDUNG - The West Java Provincial Government calls on the people of West Java both the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and Non ASN to depart from the West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka Regency, if they will travel out of the province by plane.

    West Java Provincial Secretary, Iwa Karniwa stated, the appeal signed by him had been conveyed to all City and Regency Governments including Parliament (DPRD) to use BIJB if leaving the island and province left.

    "We have directed and we have appealed and the circular has been sent to all regents and mayors in 5 regencies / cities to Indramayu, Cirebon Regency, Cirebon City, Kuningan and Majalengka for all apparatus including the DPRD for official travel to be more efficient and it is effective at Kertajati Airport, "he said.

    According to Iwan, the appeal was not only for cities and regencies located in 5 Ciayumajakuning regions, but also for ASNs in 22 other cities and regencies in West Java.

    "We have conveyed the forms of support and forms of written appeals to the public, especially the ASN and non-ASN, if they carry out their duties or non-inter-island assignments between provinces they are encouraged to use Kertajati Airport," he said.

    Iwa said, the Governor of West Java fully supports ASN, the DPRD to prioritize inter-island official trips between provinces in Indonesia in carrying out their duties as well as non-duty using flights to and from Kertajati Airport.

    "Later I will ask for information from the heads of echelon 2 in West Java Province and also request information informally to the regents / mayors who have appealed to us what has appealed to all ASNs and non-ASNs," Iwa said, at an event in West Java DPRD, Monday (24/06). (Parno)
