BANDUNG - The Indonesian Motorcycle Transportation Agency (DAMRI) will prepare around 20 units of the bus fleet to deliver people who will fly from West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka Regency after the transfer of a number of flights from Bandung's Husein Sastranegara International Airport to BIJB Kertajati.
Damri General Manager of Bandung City, Mursalim said, for this initial stage, his party had cooperated with BIJB Kertajati to prepare around 5 units of bus fleets to deliver passengers free of charge.
"We are working with BIJB Kertajati to prepare a free bus fleet, and if later passengers to BIJB Kertajati increase we will penetrate the fleet to a total of 20 units," he said.
According to Mursalim, several routes will be prepared by Damri including Bandung-BIJB via Damri pool in Kebon Kawung, Cirebon-BIJB, Cikarang, Kuningan-BIJB and Cikarang BIJB with departure time starting at 02.00 WIB.
"We depart once every 2 hours, starting at 02.00 WIB, at 04.00 WIB, at 06.00 WIB and at 08.00 WIB, but for Cirebon-BIJB and Kuningan-BIJB, departing starts at 06.00 because it is closer," he said.
Mursalim added, for the departure of buses from Cirebon, Cikarang, Kuningan and Cikarang, the terminals in the city and regency will be carried out.
