BANDUNG- A total of 12 transportation companies are ready to serve the needs of the people who will fly from West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka Regency to a number of regions in Indonesia after the transfer of a number of flights from Husein Sastranegara International Airport Bandung to BIJB Kertajati
Director of PT BIJB, M Singgih, said that with the flight move, it is certain that there will be an increase in flight traffic in the BIJB Kertajati, especially domestic flights.
"Domestic flights that move to BIJB Kertajati include destinations in Banjarmasin, Batam, Bali, Medan, Pekanbaru, Pontianak and Ujung Pandang and their airlines are Garuda, Lion, Sriwijaya, Nam, Wings, Air Asia and Citilink," he said.
Singgih stated, BIJB Kertajati was very ready to accept the increase in flight traffic after the flight move from Husein Sastranegara Airport to BIJK Kertajati.
"With the existing facilities and infrastructure, we are very ready to welcome the transfer of this flight," said Singgih, in the Jabar Punya Informasi (Japri) ceremony, at the East Parking Building of Gedung Sate, Friday (21/06).
According to Singgih, with the increase in flight traffic in BIJB Kertajati, it is possible for three years that it can provide regional revenue (PAD) for West Java Province.
"Previously, we projected it for more than 6 years, but with this move in the next 3 years we project that we can contribute to PAD even though there is still a limited amount," he said. (Parno)
