BANDUNG - West Java Secretary Iwa Karniwa said West Java New Student Admission (PPDB) 2019 went smoothly. According to Iwa, the success of PPDB does not mean without problems, but the percentage is very small and most of the problems can be solved immediately.
"Alhamdulillah it went well, this is all thanks to the sincerity and hard work of all parties and I thank all of them including parents of students" he said at Gedung Sate, Friday (6/21/2019).
According to Iwa until June 30 at 18.30 WIB, the total number of registrants in West Java PPDB 2019 was 258,727 registrants. Those that have been verified are 204,839 registrants, 53,892 registrants who have not been verified.
"And it still continues to proceed until the deadline for the announcement of acceptance later," he said.
No less than 3,826 operators and 2,351 verifiers that helped smooth the process of PPDB.
"Coupled with the reliability of the IT system that we use is quite good. From the information that I get, only about 45 percent of the IT capacity we provide, that means there is still very large unused capacity" he said.
Iwa who was accompanied by Head of West Java Education and Culture Department Dewi Sartika added that the number of complaints related to PPDB 2019 was 497 complaints.
"We have completed 455 cases, and 42 complaints are still in the completion stage," he explained.
