CIMAHI - Entering its 18th year, the City of Cimahi is increasingly reliable in running the wheels of government. Thus revealed West Java Deputy Governor Uu Ruzhanul Ulum after attending the Special Plenary Meeting of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Cimahi City in the framework of the 18th Anniversary of Cimahi City in the Cimahi City DPRD Building, Friday (6/21/2019).
According to Uu Ruzhanul, an economy supported by improved infrastructure, moral security, strengthening culture, and local wisdom, made the City of Cimahi in line with the West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) vision and mission - Born and Inner Champion.
Uu Ruzhanul said that innovation was the main requirement for development in the current era of progress. Innovation, he said, must be applied in various development sectors in order to improve the quality of public services that support the improvement of people's quality of life.
"Also for the sake of sustainable development. In addition, collaboration between levels of government, between regions, and among development actors is also important to support the exploration of potential and opportunities, and to answer various development problems and challenges," he said.
In order to realize the vision and mission, said Uu Ruzhanul, West Java Pemdaprov has compiled a development framework for 6 regions or Development Areas (WP), including WP Bodebekpunjur, WP Purwasuka, WP Ciayumajakuning, WP Priatim-pangandaran, WP Special Basin for Bandung, and WP Sukabumi .
Correspondingly, with the issuance of Government Regulation No. 33 of 2018 concerning the Implementation of the Duties and Authority of the Governor As the Deputy of the Central Government, Uu Ruzhanul hopes that the synergy of the West Java Provincial Government and the West Java District / City Government will strengthen.
Uu Ruzhanul also said, one of the indicators of regional government performance is the Report on the Implementation of Regional Government (LPPD) delivered to the Ministry of Home Affairs. In 2017, Cimahi City ranked third in the LPPD at the West Java level with 3.2586 points (very high status).
"For the year ahead, it is expected to be able to further improve its performance so that it can encourage the achievement of the better West Java Province LPPD. Ultimately it leads to improving the welfare of the people of Cimahi City and West Java in general," he said.
