BANDUNG CITY- West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil inaugurated Mulyana as Head of Representative of the Financial and Development Supervision Agency (BPKP) of West Java Province, in the West Hall of Gedung Sate, Diponegoro Street, Bandung, Wednesday (06/19/19).
The Governor appointed the new Head of BPKP in his capacity as an extension of the central government in West Java. The inauguration was based on the Decree of the Head of the Republic of Indonesia BPKP Ardan Adiperdana.
The new Head of BPKP of West Java Province, Mulyana, previously served as Director of Production and Natural Resources Supervision at the Deputy of the Supervision of Government Agencies in the Economy and Maritime Affairs of the Central BPKP in Jakarta.
"I appointed to represent the Central Government in the region," said the Governor after the inauguration.
In the Governor's view, the BPKP plays an important role in keeping development in West Java on the track according to the rules. Especially with Emil's leadership style, the Governor's nickname, a lot of innovation and collaboration.
"The essence of the progress is West Java. The champion with the concept of 'taking the crap' will later be reflected in funding innovation and cooperation. There is a gray space. So we need security opinions from BPKP to be the key," Emil explained.
The Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) of West Java, does not have unlimited funds to build. Therefore, the method of financing various development programs must be elaborated. Statistical data shows that the APBD / APBN can only drive 9 percent of economic growth. So that the government needs other funding sources.
According to Emil, the financing innovation that will be maximized in the 'Jabar Juara' leadership era is the non-APBD pathway method. Such as the Government and Business Entity Cooperation (PPP), regional bond development, CSR, community funding, development financing by regional banks, and so on.
So, continued Emil, the BPKP was the key and source of law and facts in overseeing every stage of development. With the new leadership, Emil hopes the presence of BPKP in West Java can help accelerate various programs.
The Governor gave an example of a number of government projects that were considered successful in implementing alternative financing patterns. Some of them are the Nambo Regional Waste Project for Bogor District and City, Depok City, and Banten Province.
A number of other major projects that will soon be launched are the Legoknangka TPAS, the Jatigede Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM), and Bandung Raya LRT which is the connectivity of the Bandung-Jakarta Fast Train to the eight connecting cities / regencies.
"We need opinion, input, also related to financing through other things that can be done," he said.
The governor also invited the BPKP to continue to work in synergy with the West Java Provincial Government so that the tradition of unqualified opinion (WTP) issued by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) could continue for the ninth time in a row.
"Congratulations, Pak Mulyana, he is a Kuningan, native West Javanese. Hopefully with the new leadership, West Java will become a pilot province that runs fast. The speed is accurate and accountable, with good studies coming from the BPKP. If successful, West Java Province will be a pilot. for Indonesia to progress extraordinary, "said the Governor.
