    Governor Proposed Bekasi Regent to Hold Factory Teaching to Reduce Unemployment


    BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil promised to meet with Bekasi Regent Eka S. Atmaja to discuss poverty alleviation policies and the still high reduction of unemployment in Bekasi Regency.

    "I will meet, this inauguration is the moment that I am waiting for soon with Bekasi. For unemployed there needs to be a special policy that prioritizes local workers, "he said after inaugurating the Regent of Eka Atmaja in Gedung Sate, Wednesday (6/12).

    He gave an example that he would make a regulation requiring factories to make factory teaching with their students as local residents. What is taught must be in accordance with the needs of the industry in order to compete for work.
    "Don't let the locals become guests, we will discuss later, I have been waiting for this inauguration moment," he said.

    While Regent Eka S. Atmaja said the eradication of poverty and unemployment was his main priority, besides education and health and infrastructure.

    "There will be basic training through the Manpower Office, there will be regulations on employers' obligations related to permits and participation in absorption of local labor," he explained.

    If there are still many workers who do not meet the qualifications, there will be an obligation for the company to provide training in order to work as needed. Jo
