West Java Governor: Forget the Difference, Look for Equations

BANDUNG CITY- West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) held a Halal Bil Halal and Silahturahim Idul Fitri 1440 Hijri together with all elements of Forkopimda, OPD, and Regents / Mayors in West Java in the Gedung Sate West Parking area, Bandung, Tuesday ( 6/11/2019).

According to West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, the meeting was a moment to forget all the differences. Because, the month of Shawwal is the most appropriate time to increase spirituality as well as strengthen brotherhood with fellow human beings.

"So, in this Shawwal month, forget worldly differences. We are looking for the same spirituality that makes us Muslims and believers who are good," he said.

Emil - as Ridwan Kamil was called - called the main and most important message in Halal Bil Halal and the Gathering is unity. Forgetting differences and focusing on looking for equality, he said, is the key to being united and mutually reinforcing.

"Don't like hobbies looking for differences because you will find them, find the equation to strengthen ukuwah," he said.

If viewed sociologically, continued Emil, in the month of Ramadan and Shawwal, each individual should be able to 'class up'. In other words, the quality of life of individuals must be better because they have been able to pass the test, especially in the month of Ramadan.

In addition, Emil asked the media to disseminate soothing information that could boost people's motivation in caring for unity and conduciveness in West Java. "We take care of West Java," he said.

Meanwhile, famous lecturer from Garut Regency, Jujun Junaedi, said what was revealed by Emil. He even called Shawwal as a fitting moment to improve self-quality. Moreover, he said, the people had been tested for self-control for a full month.

"Don't fast the 'sieve', just eat fast, but you don't change yourself. Just change the casing, just use new clothes, already," he said.

"We have to be like butterflies, the origin of which is not liked when it becomes a caterpillar, but after turning into a butterfly, it is something that is liked," he continued.

Therefore, Jujun Junaedi invites all people to be productive in kindness. Because, he continued, the best of humans is he who benefits other humans. He also asked all people to maintain differences by upholding tolerance.

In the meeting, West Java Governor 2008-2018 Period, Ahmad Heryawan, along with his wife Netty Prasetyani Heryawan were also present. Also present were the acting Governor of West Java 2018 period Mochamad Iriawan.
