    West Java Parliament Monitored BIJB

MAJALENGKA - Chair of the West Java Provincial Parliament Ineu Purwadewi Sundari welcomed the plan to move flights from Bandung's Husein Sastranegara Airport to the West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati. The plan is targeted to be realized on June 15, 2019, where BIJB Kertajati will serve 12 domestic flight routes outside Java.

"I hope this will be the beginning for BIJB to be able to maximize its contribution as an airport," Ineu told reporters at the BIJB Kertajati Majalengka.

Ineu assessed that the flight transfer plan must be followed by the construction of other supporting infrastructure such as toll access, airline offices, and preparation for aerocity development.

"I hope that with these various plans it can increase public interest. Then other supporting facilities such as the Cisumdawu toll road, airport toll road are currently underway. For internal BIJB itself regarding the development at this airport such as office facilities for airlines, my tenant hopes that on June 15 it will be ready for use, "he said.

He hoped that BIJB, besides being able to fulfill the flight needs of the West Java community, the presence of the BIJB could provide economic impact for the communities around the area.

"People who are around BIJB can feel the economic impact, with the absorption of labor involving the local community," he concluded. Jo
