BANDUNG - The flow of homecoming on the southern route of West Java at the Cileunyi toll gate, Bandung Regency, was monitored smoothly on the 4th day of Lebaran on Saturday (1/6/2019). According to West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, the 2019 homecoming season was more smoothly than the previous year.
"I monitored, not only Cileunyi, as of today at various traffic points in West Java Alhamdulillah it was monitored smoothly," he said when reviewing the 2019 Lebaran Security Post at the Cileunyi Perempatan, Bandung Regency.
Emil - Ridwan Kamil's words - explained a number of steps taken by the West Java Provincial Government and the Central Government to unravel the accumulation of vehicles on. One of them is a one way policy issued by the Ministry of Transportation.
In addition, said Emil, the operation of the Trans Java Utara makes the volume of vehicles on the southern route of West Java decrease. Because the travelers from DKI Jakarta and Banten who are heading to Central Java or East Java use the northern route.
Emil also asked the police and the Transportation Office of West Java Province to continue to monitor the smooth flow of homecoming and return. Not to forget, he expressed appreciation to all parties involved in making the 2019 homecoming season a success.
"I entrusted to the Police and the Department of Transportation to continue to monitor after the day of H is also still guaranteed smoothness," he said.
"Also the backflow, if it goes back and forth it should be the same. I appreciate all the elements. Hopefully this is the most successful homecoming in history," Emil continued.
The peak of the homecoming itself is estimated to fall on May 30 to June 1. The homecoming flow on 30-31 May was monitored smoothly. Meanwhile, on June 1, the new State Civil Apparatus (ASN) will travel back and forth because they must attend the Commemoration Ceremony of the Pancasila Birthday.
