Collaborating with GOJEK in Development, Evidence of West Java Provincial Government Implementing Bureaucracy 3.0

BANDUNG CITY- West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) cooperates with GOJEK and GO-PAY to raise the potential of the digital economy in West Java. The aim of the collaboration is to strengthen the informal sector and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) actors via technological innovation and collaboration with GOJEK and GO-PAY.

Head of GOJEK West Java and Banten Regional Government Relations, Muhammad Chairil, said that one of the focuses of the memorandum of understanding with West Java Government was the empowerment of women through entrepreneurship training and access to employment.

"In a strategic agreement with the West Java Provincial Government, GOJEK also offers a comprehensive support program for informal sector actors and MSMEs by conducting training, facilitating marketing businesses, and facilitating employment access in the GOJEK ecosystem," he said at Gedung Sate West Hall on Saturday ( 5/25/2019).

According to Chairil, GOJEK has the potential to support the flagship program of West Java Province, namely the Women's School for Dreams and Dreams or the Love Suitcase launched by the Governor of West Java with the Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection in December 2018.

The Chairperson of the West Java Provincial TP PKK who is also the Chairperson of the Organizing Team for the Sekoper Cinta School, Atalia Praratya Kamil, explained that the program was present to catapult the quality of life of women and realize equality of roles, access and participation of women in all fields.

"Our hope is that all of these agreements can be carried out well and of course create social and economic impacts that benefit the people of West Java," said Atalia.

"We are very enthusiastic and grateful to GOJEK and GO-PAY who enthusiastically want to collaborate in development programs in West Java," he continued.

Cooperation with GOJEK and GO-PAY is one of the implementation of Bureaucracy 3.0 or dynamic government. In other words, the development of West Java can be done through cooperation between the West Java Provincial Government and other parties.

Previously, the West Java Pemdaprov collaborated with Bukalapak about Improving Public Services through the Use of Online Markets (Online Marketplace). The collaboration aims to accelerate the process of public service by the government. One of them is motor vehicle tax payments in Bukajabar.

In addition, Pemdaprov West Java cooperates with PT. Telkomsel launches the Digital Village Patriot Program. The target of the program is that all villages in West Java are able to carry out digital activities or digitalization. Digitalization does not only concern internet access, but also touches public services and trade involving the community.
