BANDUNG - This year Pocari Sweat Run Bandung enters its 3rd year. If last year 8,000 participants participated, this year will be followed by 10,000 people. Not to forget the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil said that he was ready to run as far as 10 KM.
The running event is a collaboration between PT Amerta Ind. Otsuka and the West Java Provincial Government, where its readiness was delivered at a press conference at Gedung Sate, Thursday (23/5). This running event will be held on July 28, 2019.
When the registration was opened on February 25, 2019, the high enthusiasm of the runners was immediately apparent with the end of the 10,000 race tickets in just 45 minutes. The runners of this year's participants can also be made personal by printing their names on shirts, this is the first time they have been done in a run in Indonesia.
The full support provided by the West Java Provincial Government is represented by Governor Ridwan Kamil, by ensuring that this marathon race is supported by all West Java people, especially the city of Bandung so that it is comfortable and safe for runners from all over Indonesia. One of the most personal support this year from Mr. Governor is a medal that was directly designed by him to be very unique.
"We are very proud to be able to hold back the grand event of POCARI SWEAT RUN BANDUNG 2019. This is the 3rd year we held a running competition in the city of Bandung and were very grateful for the unbroken support from the West Java provincial government. This event is a form of our commitment to the community to always be inspired to have a healthy lifestyle. We always try our best so that every year this event gets bigger and involves more people. Like this year we broke the 10,000 runner numbers. We prepare the best for the race in July and hope that each participant will enjoy a fun race from Pocari, "said Ricky Suhendar, Marketing Director of PT Amerta Ind. Otsuka.
"The collaboration between the West Java Province government and pocari has been long and strong. We are delighted to be able to return to host this grand sporting event and hopefully bring many benefits to the surrounding community. We realize that the bigger an event is, the better preparation must be. We urge all people to support this event so that on the race day we will all show our characteristics as advanced people and West Java Champions! "Said Ridwan Kamil, Governor of West Java Province.
What is different from this event is that there is a virtual run, which means that in addition to Bandung, runners in various parts of Indonesia can also participate remotely. Runners can run at the same time and time according to their category. Jo
