BANDUNG - West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) and West Java Regional Representative Council held a Plenary Meeting at the West Java Parliament Office on Wednesday (5/22/2019).
The Plenary Meeting discussed three Draft Regional Regulations (Raperda) in West Java Province, namely Religious Education, Housing and Settlement Development Development Plans (RP3KP) in 2019-2039, and Health Management.
According to West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, the Religious Education Draft Law is intended to be a guideline for the Provincial Government in facilitating the implementation of Religious Education in accordance with the provisions of the Law.
"With the existence of this regional regulation, it will strengthen the institutional aspects of religious education," Emil said - thus Ridwan Kamil was called -.
Religious education itself needs special attention. The reason is that Religious Education is one way to shape a generation of people who understand and practice religious values ??that are broad-minded.
Therefore, the West Java Provincial Government is obliged to guarantee the implementation of Religious Education in its territory as well as possible and in accordance with the mandate of the Law.
The Draft Regional Regulation on Religious Education includes formal, non-formal and informal education, five religions recognized in Indonesia, namely Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism, and Confucianism.
