BANDUNG - West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) launched the Aspiration Car of Champion Village (Masara) at Sasana Budaya Ganesha Bandung, Wednesday (05/15/2019). The multifunctional standby car will be distributed to every village in West Java.
Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum said, Mascara is an innovation of Pemdaprov to improve services to the community. Later, the Village Chief is in charge of managing Mascara.
"This is our innovation to provide maximum service to the community by the village head. We specially formatted this multifunctional car, so that with this car the service can be better," he said.
According to Uu Ruzhanul, the sophisticated service car can be utilized by the community to transport agricultural, entertainment, and Village Maternity Cottage (Polindes) products. "There is an entertainment function such as a live screen, celebration and polyclinic," he said.
West Java Pemdaprov provides 120 units at the first launch. This number will continue to grow every year. In addition, said Uu Ruzhanul, the West Java Provincial Government cooperated with the private sector, so that funding for Masara was not only sourced from the Regional Budget.
"This is for 120 villages first, but it will continue and the number will increase from donors. Because we don't only use Budget Expenditure funds, but also from the private sector," he said.
Meanwhile, the first village that was able to operate Masara was Majasari Village which was the best village in West Java. Moreover, in 2016, Majasari Village was one of the best villages in Indonesia.
Therefore, Uu Ruzhanul hopes that other villages can imitate Majasari Village. "I gave first to Majasari village, which once had national and other village champions had to imitate it. I hope the village heads take care and utilize the presence of Mascara," he concluded.
