BANDUNG - Regional Secretary of West Java Province (Secretary of West Java) Iwa Karniwa reminded to continue to maintain the trend of 5 percent economic growth, regional conduciveness and use the internet for positive things. This was conveyed in the presence of representatives of the labor and internal organizations of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Department of Manpower and Transmigration (Disnaker), at a gathering and breaking fast with the West Java Provincial Manpower Office, Sunday (05/12/2019) at the Disnaker Office West Java Province, Bandung City.
"These three things can make West Java the province that most contributes to Indonesia's progress in the coming 2045," said Iwa.
According to Iwa, based on research by a number of world institutions, in 100 years Indonesia after independence or precisely in 2045, it will become the 5th superpower in the world, after the United States, China, India, Russia and the European Union. "But, there are conditions," he said.
The first condition, is the economic growth above 5 percent with the following indicators, economic growth that alleviates poverty, decreases unemployment and the economic inequality of the community. Of course, to realize these indicators there are two main requirements, namely, increasing infrastructure development and regional competitiveness in the form of increasing human resources both quantitatively and qualitatively. "So, to encourage economic growth towards more than 5 percent, as the largest province in Indonesia, our APBD is mostly for education and health. Moreover, in 2018 our growth has been 5.4 percent highest in Indonesia, we must maintain it," he explained.
The second requirement, continued Iwa, is that during the leadership transition, both at the village, district / city, provincial and national levels run conducive and run peacefully. Therefore, he invited all elements to maintain conduciveness and peace after the presidential and legislative elections. "Let's maintain conduciveness for the progress of the Indonesian state," he continued.
Meanwhile, the third condition is wise in utilizing technological sophistication, especially the internet. "Use the internet to increase work productivity, increase knowledge, facilitate connectivity. Not to be used for bad things, like hoaxes, spread hate speech and others," he stressed.
At the end of his speech, he hoped that with all the potential available, West Java could become the most advanced province in Indonesia.
