BANDUNG - Hotel Occupancy Rate (TPK) in West Java in March 2019 reached 48.81 percent, up 0.73 points compared to February 2019 TPK which reached 48.08 percent. Both star and non-star hotels RORs have increased.
The West Java Central Bureau of Statistics (NPS) said that the ROR for star hotels in March 2019 was 52.69 percent, up 1.12 points compared to the February 2019 TPK which reached 51.57 percent. The highest TPK according to the March 2019 star hotel class was recorded in 5-star hotels at 69.54 percent, while the lowest TPK occurred in 1-star hotels at 38.50 percent.
"The non-starred ROR for hotels in March 2019 was 34.60 percent, up 2.12 points compared to February 2019 which was 32.48 percent," said BPS Head Dody Herlando.
The highest TPK for non-star hotels occurred in hotels with groups of rooms above 40 with 36.31 percent. Whereas the lowest ROR for non-star hotels at 18.51 percent occurred in hotels with groups of rooms less than 10.
The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in March 2019 was recorded at 1.89 days and in non-starred hotels for 1.76 days. Foreign guests stay at star hotels on average for 4.28 days and in non-star hotels for 1.74 days, while Indonesian guests stay an average of 1.76 days in star hotels and 1.21 days in non-star hotels .
Meanwhile, there were 16,397 foreign tourists visiting Husein Sastranegara Airport in March 2019, an increase of 8.47 percent compared to February 2019 which recorded 15,116 people. All tourists who came through the Port of Muarajati Cirebon were all 43 crew members, down 23.21 percent compared to February 2019 which recorded 56 people. Jo
